NEET is made compulsory for Indian Students to study MBBS in India and Abroad - But there is a good news!

The number of applicants for NEET was set to surge this year because candidates opting to pursue MBBS in any university abroad would also have to clear NEET for the process.

Thus, in 2018, the NEET mandate to study medicine in abroad was completely quashed. However, from 2019, NEET will be mandatory for every student dreaming of becoming a doctor.

NEET has seen many changes this year. In February 2018, NEET was made mandatory for even overseas MBBS aspirants, but many candidates planning to pursue MBBS abroad were not ready.

Now that NEET is compulsory, for students studying MBBS in India and Abroad, all Medical Universities have been very happy. This means that only good, qualified and capable students will be able to study MBBS.

The ONLY reason of less passing percentage of Indian students studying medical from India or Abroad
to clear the FMGE / MCI Screening test was the quality of students accepted in these medical colleges.
Since the NEET examination has been made compulsory from last year, 2018, the students who will apply for the MBBS Admissions in India or Abroad will have good marks in the overall subjects.

However, with that said, the good news is any student who has cleared their Class 12 examination and would like to go abroad before June 5th 2019,  they do not need to clear NEET.
